A suspected phone thief has been been beaten to stupor by angry mobs after stealing a mobile device from his victim with his motorcycle in Ughelli North Local government area of Delta state.
The victim, identified as Brown whose surname could not be ascertain was arrested after he a head collision accident with an oncoming vehicle at Daniel Mukoro street at Uloho Avenue.
According to sources, “The suspect snatched a bag of a woman containing her mobile phone and when she raised alarm, people from the area gave him a hot chase and he was eventually arrested when he had the head collision with a vehicle coming toward his direction.

Another source revealed that, The suspect, Brown who hails from Evwreni community, entered into perfume shop pretending to buy one, while the owner of the shop was was bringing the selected one, the boy took her phone from the table and jumped into his bike.
“As he was being chased, a vehicle swerved him into a drainage where he was arrested, beaten to stupor before he was handed over to the police.
