Ahead of the 2023 gubernatorial election in Delta State, former governor Chief James Onanefe Ibori and High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo recently met in an undisclosed location.
Though it could not be ascertained if their meeting was as the result of Sen James Manager’s ambition to become the state governor in 2023 or the his opposition to the motion raised by the PDP state chairman, Okakuro Kingsley Esiso that Delta Central should produce the state governor in 2023.
It would be recalled that Sen James Manager and Chief Edwin Uzor opposed the motion by Kingsley Esiso that Delta Central should produce the next Governor of the state before the Asaba PDP Mega rally held at the weekend.
The motion, it was gathered was supported by Sen. Stella Omu from Delta South and Isoko nation.
