Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Youth Development, Prince Sony Jifas Ogbon has described the appointment of Hon.
Dr. Morris Ogheneochuko Idiovwa as the Director General of Delta State Local Content Agency by governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a welcome development in the history of the state.
The Delta government had appoint Idiovwa as the pioneer Director General of the newly created Local Content Agency Board.
stating that his appointment as the pioneer DG is based on merit, but not just a political reward.
Ogbon in a congratulatory message personally signed, said “The appointment of Hon Dr. Morris Idiovwa is not a political reward but a merit based.
“A competent hands has just been appointed into a competent and strategic agency were no one has reason to be afraid but expects the needed results.
“Dr. Idiovwa has a pedigree that distinguished him from others as he has shown this in the various sector where he has held sway.
While commending the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Prince Jifas described him as an intelligent governor and a guru in administration.
While commending the Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for the appointing an illustrious son of Delta Central, Ogbon held that Okowa is visionary leader who understands and know the capacity and ability of every one he wished to work with.
The congratulatory message by Prince Jifas Ogbon further reiterated that “Dr. Idiovwa, haven performed excellently well in the Oil and Gas sector, and Community Development Board, CDB, his appointment as Director General of the Delta State Local Content Agency, will bring out the best in him as his his wealth of experience and expertise will come to play.
“I want to congratulate you as I appeal to Deltans to cooperate, support and join hands with Idiovwa to deliver his quota as this agency will speedily grow in the hand of someone he called a technocrat”. Prince Jifas stated.
