COVID-19: Uduaghan Mourns Pessu’s Death, Calls For Obedience To Govt Laws

The immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has commiserated with the families of Joseph Pessu who was allegedly killed by the Nigeria Army.

In his condolence message on his verified Facebook Page, Uduaghan appealed to Deltans to always obey government directives.

He said, “The reports of the gruesome killing of a defenseless citizen identified as Mr. Joseph Pessu, by men of the Nigerian Army earlier today in Warri saddens my heart.

It is a very condemnable act from people who have sworn oath to protect our citizens. I also gather that the 28 year-old was a father of two children.

My heartfelt condolences go to the Pessu’s.

I join in asking that a proper investigation be carried out to ascertain what led to late Mr. Pessu’s killing.

Please, let everyone be cautious and obey the directives from government to Stay at Home and Stay Safe.

Together we will defeat Covid 19!
