The National coordinator of Elohim Political Forum, Prince Emmanuel Omote has disclosed that the victory of governor Ifeanyi Okowa over Chief Great Ogboru at the Supreme Court was well expected by Deltans.
Omote, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ughelli South, said, “Our brother Chief Great Ogboru should come in term with the outcome of the judgment delivered and join hands with Okowa to build Delta of our dreams.
According to him, “I am passionately appealing to Great Ogboru to accept defeat and quit now that the ovation is high. How would he has expects that the Apex Court will declare him the winner of the election with just too local government only.
“The umbrella of the PDP is big enough to accommodate whoever that is ready come because we are one Delta State and one party.
“I want to congratulate our dynamic governor for his victory from the Tribunal, Court of Appeal and finally at the Supreme Court, this victory indicates that Delta is a state that is own by Deltans and cannot be taken from them.
Omote in his congratulatory message appealed to Okowa to extend his hand of fellowship to all Deltans irrespective of political parties as he has always done from time.
“H.E should endeavor to open his hands, heart as a Christian to accommodate and forgive all for the growth and development of Delta State.” He appealed
