Adjogbe Gets Award of Excellence From PHEW Foundation

UGHELLI- The Director- General of PHEW Foundation International, Engr. Queen Uche Chigbo has said that the group has decided to honour the erstwhile Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr Dr Samuel Adjogbe, FNSE to commend his past and present contributions to national development and SDGs.

Engr. Adjogbe stated that for Sustainable development Goals (SDGs) to be impactful, it must address national challenges.

He made this remark recently when a delegation from a non-governmental organisation, PHEW Foundation International, visited him at his Evwreni Country home in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State to present an award of excellence to him.

He opinned that concerted efforts should be made in tackling the challenges of today, the future would turn out better.

In his words: “I want you all to focus on projects and programmes that have immediate impact on the lives of Nigerians because by so doing, the value would be more appreciated”.

” I thank the foundation for this Award. My recognition was a reflection of the vision of President Muhammadu Buhari in transforming the Niger Delta region”.

PHEW Foundation DG, Engr. Chigbo and his team while presenting the award to Adjogbe in recognition of his commitment to the sustainable development of the Niger Delta region, that the foundation has found some the developmental strides of Engr. adjogbe in terms of a great number of the projects initiated and executed by NDDC under his watch as erstwhile Executive Director Projects.

According to Engr Chigbo, some of the projects executed by Engr Adjogbe included amongst others:The provision of potable water, construction of infrastructure and renovation of classrooms littering the Niger Delta region.

Speaking further, Engr Chigbo who doubled as the plant Manager, NBTC LTD, Warri Delta State noted also that she observed with keen interest Engr. Adjogbe’s personal contributions towards the promotion of education and support to humanity in general.

PHEW Foundation International, a non governmental organisation of repute means Peace, Health, Environment, Water and Against Human Trafficking.

To this end, those present at the occasion were Mr Anthony Didioma, Mr. Ted Atagbaza, Mr. Godwin Ani, Mr Godspower Ogoru and a host of other seasoned professionals.
