Tribunal Judgement: A Vindication Of Justice And Equity- APEDETT

The Leadership of Anioma Peoples Development Think-tank Initiate (APEDETT) has said that the recent Victory of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at the tribunal justifies the existing Justice, equity, fairness and peaceful co-existence amongst ethnic Nationalities of the state.

This was made known to our reporter today in a media chat with the President of APEDETT, Barr. Ikeazor Akaraiwe, and the National Vice President, Professor Mercy Ada Anyiwe at Asaba, Delta State Capital.

The group while Congratulating Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his well deserved Victory at the tribunal urged the opposition candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Great Ogboru to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship.

Barr Ikeazor while addressing Newsmen affirmed that , the tribunal Judgement that declared, affirmed Governor Ifeanyi the winner of the 2019 Governorship election is fair, direct and a clear testimony on equity and justice, therefore cannot be upturned by any court of law.

And the University Don, Professor of Economics and Statistics who doubled as the National Vice President of the group (APEDETT ), opined that the State has enjoyed sustenable peace over the years, and as such that the present administration needed to continue with the usual peace and tranquility, therefore should not be distorted by anyone or any interest group.

Prof Anyiwe however advised the Governor to carry all and sundry along in his administration, including those in opposition Political Parties, and as well look more inwards towards utilizing the huge available material, human capital resources in the state for sustainable socio-economic development.
