It was a double celebration as the Founder and General Overseer of Builders of Faith Bible Church, Incorporated, Bishop Akpode Joshua was been ordained as Archbishop and conferred as the Professor of Christian Law by Zoe of Life Theological College, USA.
At the episcopal service, the ordaining Archbishop, Rt. Rev. CAO Apena charged the newly consecrated clergy to be a devoted soul winner to the kingdom of God in other to depopulate hell to populate heaven through the divine call.
This is just as the Archbishop Akpode Joshua bagged the prestigious professor of Christian law from Zoe of life Theological College of USA.
In an epoch church service attended by traditional rulers, Archbishop Apena in his sermon tasked the clergy and leaders to be humble, respectful and ensure the glory of God radiates in them to serve as light to the world.
He said, “All our Royal fathers must ensure they serve God diligently as that is the only way to bring God’s blessing to them and their kingdom. Have the fear of God in discharging your duties as traditional rulers because he made you to be where you are at this very moment.
The clergy Joshua was concentrated after the men leader of the church, Bro. Goddey Emuejurhievwe after the resolution of the church’s Board of Trustee to create the position of Archbishop and Bishop Akpode Joshua be concentrated as Archbishop of the church.
On his part, the Archbishop of Zoe Theological College, Richard Innocent said, “The College has decided to confer Archbishop Akpode Joshua the professor of Christian Law because of his great academics works and dedication. The Archbishop is not only spiritually but also academically sound hence the college has decided to confer on him a professor of Christian law.
In his address, Archbishop Joshua express gratitude to God almighty, Zoe Life Theological College for finding him worthy to be conferred a professor and Archbishop Apena whom he described as a great man and for the mentorship and fatherly guidance.
“I appreciate all the Royal Fathers present, Archbishops, Bishops and every other clergy present as well as all church members who made the event a success. He stated that he gave God all the glory for all that has happened in his life”.
The mother of the newly coronated Archbishop, Pastor Mrs. Rebecca Edijala could not hold back her joy said, “My joy was filled seeing this day as she prayed for more growth for her son and the church, saying; mothers all over the world should raise their children in the way of the Lord.
Present at the eventful ceremony were, The Orovworere of Effurun Otor Kingdom, HRM Duku II, Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom, HRM Matthew Egbi and the representatives of the Olu of Warri. Chief Dr. John Ilorighademor JP represented the Ovie of Agbarha-Otor kingdom while the Owhorode of Olomu was represented by his wife, Queen Grace Ogbon.
Other dignitaries include, Chief Nathaniel Obakanurhe, the Avwoghokovie of Agbarha-Otor Kingdom and Engr. Clifford Anakpoha, Vice President General of Isoko Development Union who represented his president General, Chief Iduh Amadhe.
