ENGINEER Lucky Oyovwi, a governorship candidate of MRDD in Delta state on March 9, 2019 election has congratulated Chief Ovuozorie Macaulay former secretary to the state government over his recent appointment as Director General of Warri/Uvwie and Environs Development Agency by Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa.
In a statement signed by Oyovwi, describe Macaulay’s appointment as timely and a right choice made by the governor at the appropriate time.
He said, “Knowing and choosing the right people is an outstanding quality of a good leader and this is what our brilliant Governor Okowa has displayed in the person of Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay as Director General of Warri/Uvwie and Environs Development Agency.
According to Oyovwi, “Governor Okowa has taken a proactive approach to state issues and Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay, a colossus in governance and a result-oriented leader will make rapid development of the region covered by the agency.
“We know Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay when he was the Commissioner for Power and Energy, and we saw what he did during that period, where he ensured the procurement, installation and the commissioning of many distribution transformers under his supervision.
“Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay has always shown passion for Delta state advancement and he has the capacity to transform Warri/Uvwie and its environs to an enviable height.
“He has consistently displayed diligence, devotion and commitment to duties for our beloved Delta State, and has never been found wanting in character.
“Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay is dependable, trustworthy, reliable and consistent and with him at the helms of affairs, the Agency is sure to deliver the desired developmental results”. The statement added.
