Former governorship candidate in the 2019 general elections, Engr LuckyOyovwi applauds the kind gesture and philanthropic activities of the former secretary to the Delta state government, Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay over the free medical treatment to over 200 persons in the two Isoko local government areas of the state.
In a statement he personally signed, Oyovwi describe Macaulay as a rare gem whose humility, compassion and philanthropic activities are worthy of emulations.
“Comrade Ovuozorie Macaulay despite being a colossus in governance has remained humble and his good gestures and philanthropic activities towards humanity is a rare gem who makes the world a better place.
“Compassion is the first quality of a good Leader and this I have found in him. He is a transformational leader with human compassion and you cannot represent people when you don’t have compassion for them but in this case, he is exceptional who is worthy of emulations”.
“He has consistently displayed kindness and compassion for humanity even while he was the commissioner for Power and Energy. Through the Macaulay Foundation, he has provided for the needy and this recent free medical treatment to over 200 persons is an attestation to his kind of person.
“He has deep awareness of the financial difficulties in the country and thus moved to alleviate hardship on those suffering from health issues and suffice to say that Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay truly portrays the biblical advice that says when the ‘right hand gives; do not let the left hand know’.
