A Professor of Mathematical Physics at Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria, Dr. Raphael E. Asibor has said that MSAB, a Swedish company founded in 1984 with headquarters in Stockholm; in collaboration with Certified Systems Limited is a timely Information & Communication Technology (ICT) solutions providers with applications in Mobile Forensic services.
Dr. Asibor made this assertion yesterday in a telephone conversation with our reporter on the role of ICT towards providing solutions to effective and efficient Mobile Forensic services in the country and beyond.
Dr. Asibor who is the Director of ICT, Igbinedion University Okada (Nigeria Premier Private University) stated that his institution has virtually all the ICT Academy running, as the university is a 21st century digital campus.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, a Professor of Ecotoxicology and Environmental forensics and a visiting Professor to Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and a Pioneer Federal Director, National Center for Energy and Environment has transformed Igbinedion University, Okada to a centre of Academic Excellence through teaching, research, and knowledge production in response to contextualized national and global needs which is in line with the mission of the institution.
Dr. Asibor stated that in line with the nation’s quest for the growth in Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Igbinedion University Okada has kick-starked ICT Academy in the following areas: Huawei Academy, Cisco Academy, Microtik Academy, Intel Academy; and that one of their critical stakeholder development partner, Certified Systems Limited has concluded arrangements to start the Microsoft Academy by September 2019 with all the devices deployed.
Dr. Asibor said that Igbinedion University Okada is currently running a course on Security and Contemporary Studies that was recently commissioned by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Buratai on April 15th, 2019.
Dr. Asibor who is a strong advocate of Smart Farming techniques stated that other critical stakeholders such as Central Bank, Supreme Court, Nigerian Custom, EFCC, ICPC, Police, Navy, Air Force, Kogi State Government, National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency and other Stakeholders are in support of this new development.
He therefore appealed to the Federal and state Governments as well as other stakeholders to join the initiative of Internet of Agriculture, so as to make farming not to be seasonal as hunger is not seasonal.
