Former chairmanship aspirant in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr Efeturi Onosorhue has assured governor Ifeanyi Okowa of a shocking results that will emanate from the Udu people to deliver him at the March 9 governorship election.
Addressing newsmen, Onosorhue, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, disclosed that the chances of Okowa winning Saturday election are very bright over all other contenders .
“Udu will deliver shocking votes for Okowa reelection because it is the turn of the Delta North to complete their tenure and I will appeal to the people of Delta Central to massively vote for him because he has done well.
“It is a conventional constitution written in our memories and minds that our brothers from the North must complete their second term in office and there is no doubt that.
“And it will be very wrong for Delta Central not to align with Okowa’s reelection.
“We are all aware how Chief James Ibori from Central spent 8 years, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan from South also spent another 8 years as governors in Delta State, now it is their turn of Delta North and we must support them.
Speaking on the statement credited to Vice president Prof Yemi on his recent visit to Delta and other states, Onosorhue said, “The Idea of APC led government to deploy security agencies to Delta and other states for election is undemocratic of the Buhari administration as we are not in war zone.
“Prof Yemi Osinbajo if the statements credited to him are true, lacks character as a Pastor to concentrate on Delta election.
He is gradually losing the confidence Nigerians had in him, by saying elections were free and fair when they won but was rigged in Akwa-Ibom because Akpabio lost.
“It shows that he lacks character as a Pastor and as a vice president and as a Christian I will distance myself from him”. Efeturi said.
