With just four days to the Governorship and House of Assembly elections, Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG) and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, has resulted to what could best be described as vote buying in desperation to deliver his ward for Okowa.
Confirmed report this morning indicates that the top government officials is engaging the move to induce youths in his Oteri ward with cash to vote for the PDP after failing to deliver the ward in the last Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Recalled that the state governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has declared operation deliver your unit to all political appointees if they are interested in securing any office in his second term.
According to a public announcements done via an announcement vehicle this morning, in Oteri-Ughelli, Oteri youths are being invited for a special hosting at the SSG’s home residence by 2pm today, adding that they must come with their permanent voter’s card, PVC to access anything that would be given at the meeting.
