It was a black Sunday for a commercial motorcycle operator popularly known as Okada simply identified as Temple from Isoko who had a head-on collision with another Okada at Ughelli, Ughelli North local government area of Delta State.
The accident according to an eye witness occurred along the St.Theresa Girls Grammar School, Ekiugbo axis of the Ughelli/Warri road.
Two passengers of the Okada riders, also sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving medical attention at Ughelli Central hospital.
A Federal Road Safety Corps attached to the Ughelli Unit who was at the scene of the incident said, “The cause of the accident was as a result of one-way driving by one of the riders
The operative who spoke on condition of anonymity, said: “The cause of the accident was as a result of one-way driving by one of the Okada riders which was on high speed leading to a head-on collision with another Okada coming from the opposite direction.”
