The national youth president of World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry, WOSEM, an arm of Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Tunde Filani has charge youths to be bold and take the mantle of leadership like David did in Israel.
Speaking at WOSEM Shiloh International Conference Ground, at the Youth International Convention, 2018, with the theme: ‘The Making of Champions’ at Ilesha in Osun state, Filani held that everyone, young and adult should pay most attention to what they are being taught.
Taking the readings from 1Samuel 17, David took the challenge the tackle the obstacle that was hindering the progress of the Israelites and at his tender age he was able to take on the Philistines and by grace he was made a Champion.
According to him, “The making of champions was drawn to a young man, (Youth) David who was not too young to rule at his time and today, it is signed bill in Nigeria that youths are not too young to rule.
“We would therefore examine what gave the edge in David as an additional requirement of our time, Jesus bestowed on us an exceeding grace found in Him to do greater because he ruled his world world during his earthly years.
