A non governmental socio-political body known as Okpe Anti Corruption and Transparency Group ( OACTG ) in Okpe Local Government Area Delta State, has called on Delta Central political leaders and the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP ) to choose Chief James Augoye, Hon commissioner for works for the 2023 Delta State governorship seat.
The group led by Comrade Udi Michael made the special appeal recently after a meeting of the group at his Orerokpe residence.
He said that after carefully x-raying the pedigree and antecedents of all those that have so far declared their ambition to run for the position, they came to conclusion that chief Chief Augoye remains the most qualified and suitable for the seat.
Also speaking, Mr Omizu Peters secretary of the group stated that Augoye is the most confident, humble, active, generous, kind, Godly and easily assessed person that fits the position.
The group noted that Chief Augoye as a tested politician who was once a councillor, a former caretaker committee Chairman and a two term serving commissioner in the state, would use his wealth of experience and philanthropic disposition to better the lots of deltans by continuing from where his boss, the governor of the state Dr Ifeanyi Okowa would stopped, if endorsed for the seat.
