With less than two months to the 2023 general elections, there are strong indications that Hon. Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, Member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency may not have been accepted by his constituents.
The mention of his name at the APC campaign in his local government of Ughelli South was yesterday greeted with rejection by teeming supporters of the APC.
The All Progressives Congress APC, had on, January 10, 2023 took its campaign train to the local government where they visited Jeremi, Imode and Oviri-Olomu wards respectively
It was gathered that during the introduction of candidates by the state chairman of APC, Elder Omeni Sobotie, the name of the flag bearer the incumbent House Reps Member, Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, was greeted with; No No No No, as he was shouted down by the angry constituents.
Sources present at the venue revealed that teeming supporters of APC in the constituency, alleged that the televangelist representation has not affected anyone since he was elected into office.
According to them, he is not accessible and often screen shot his account balance to people whenever his constituents requested anything involving financial support from him.
One of the APC supporters and a constituents said; ” We will not vote for Rev. Francis Waive because he is a pretender. He is telling us that there is no money in the seat, yet he want to go back.
“The first time, he rode on Omo-Agege’s back to clinch the position, but this time we are wiser and we now know who he is, so we will face him squarely.
“We were ready to humiliate him but a candidate of the party from Ughelli North constituency 1, came behind to beg us, but we told him that we don’t want to hear his name because he is a self centered man with centered”.
“We are angry with him, this is the only lawmaker that will always screen shot his account balance to people because he do not want to help, we will pay him in a hurry and promise to pay him with his failure.
It was visibly observed that the lawmaker left the podium and arena of the rally after, the mention of his name by Chief Ede Dafinone, Delta Central Senatorial Candidate was greeted with another NO, NO NO.
