2023: Aguariavwodo Snubs DC-23 Report, Consults PDP Exco In Sapele

Ahead of the 2023 Delta Governorship election, one of the aspirants from Delta Central and a Former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Senator Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo has said that among all the aspirants, he is the best man to take over from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2023, noting that he is
most experienced and qualify among others.

Aguariavwodo disclosed this recently when he pay a consultative visit to the Executives of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Sapele Local Government Area of the state.

The aspirant while appealing to the Sapele PDP delegates to vote for him during the party’s primaries, said that he will consolidate on the good legacies and successes recorded by this present administration, maintaining that he will ensure that his administration will promote peace, attracts investors, job creation, infrastructure among others for the benefit of the good people of Delta State.

“I want to thank Sapele PDP delegates for their support so far and I want to again appeal to you all to support me during the primaries of our party and when I emerge as our party candidate, I assure you all that we will all smile because power belongs to God”. He said.

“One of my agendas is to ensure that Delta is united and that is why our slogan is “One Delta”. He stated.

Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo told Journalists that no pressure or lobby group has the power to screen aspirants out from contesting, noting that, he is still very much in the race.

Responding, the PDP Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Chief Perkins Umukoro expressed satisfaction for the visit by the Senator Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo to the LGA.

Umukoro noted that Aguariavwodo has done well for recognizing Sapele PDP.

He said that the former Senator has a very good manifesto and prayed for God to grant him his heart desires, maintaining that Aguariavwodo has nothing to be worry about because Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has said that Delta State PDP will have a smooth, free, fair and credible party primaries.

Present at the visit include: Hon. Benson Okorodudu, Mr. Harrison Ekeleme, Alhaju Adamu Talimu among others party faithfuls.
