WARRI- The Leadership of the Association of All Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN), Delta State Chapter, led by it’s Chairman, J.O. Aikpokpo-Martins(Esq.), state Secretary-general, Dcn. Abel Koghene Omolu and other Principal Officers has Congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his re-election victory in the just concluded March 9th, 2019 Guber elections in the state and tasked him on more partnership with the Delta state chapter of All Professional Bodies (APBN).
The immediate past chairman of the group, Mr J.O. Aikpokpo-Martins (Esq.) made this known to our reporter in his office at Warri, Delta state soon after the meeting of the group.
Barr. J.O. Aikpokpo-Martins who is also the past Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Warri Branch described Governor Okowa’s re-election victory as divine enthronement stated stated all professional bodies in the state were solidly behind him during the elections owing to the evidence of his developmental strides in the state in every sectors.
Delta APBN Boss, J.O. Aikpokpo-Martins (Esq.) then commended Deltans and the entire members of the Association of All professional Bodies of Nigeria in the state for voting en mass for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and his Deputy Barr Kingsley Burutu Otuaro in a quest for equity, Justice and fairness which is the hall mark of the five ethnic nationalities in the state.
The Leadership also applauded the achievements recorded by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa since his assumption in office, first termI 2015-2019 in all sectors of the state’s economy which has led to sustainable development through better synergy with professional bodies in the state.
To this end the group then appealled to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to appoint professionals in his carbinet after the swearing -in and synergize more with professional Bodies in the state for better Democratic process and provision of quality infrastructural, human capital development in his second term for proper execution of his SMART agenda policy of more prosperity for all Deltans.
“We are waiting for an official letter from your office to enable us fully participate and grace your second term inauguration ceremony as the Executive Governor of Delta State”, J.O. Aikpokpo-Martins (Esq.) stated.
