The pairings for Matchday one action for the 2019 edition of the Bet9ja Royal Cup have been released formally by the competition’s Local Organizing Committee.
According to a press statement by the tournament’s Media and Communications Lead, Jahrock Ujewe, the grassroot football showpiece will feature matches across various centers in all local government areas of Delta State, except Sapele, Warri South West, Bomadi, Burutu, amongst others.
Texas Sports will lock horns with Royal FC in the competition’s curtain raiser on September 14, 2019 at All Saints Anglican Church Field, Asaba by 10am.
The statement adds that any game, which ends in draw after full time (90mins), immediately progresses to penalty kicks to decide a winner.
It assures all registered teams that all games will be played in accordance with the rules of the competition and only players on team photo album submitted will participate in this round, stating that each team are allowed to register only three(3) players who have participated in National Leagues.
