Group, Women leaders throw support for Okowa, PDP

FEW months to the general elections in the country, Elohim Political Forum and PDP Women leaders from Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency have reaffirmed their support for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and the reelection of Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa in the  forthcoming coming elections.

Reaffirming their support in an enlarged meeting of the group and all PDP Women in Ughelli, Ughelli North local Government Area of Delta, the  convener Prince Emmanuel Omote said, “Okowa deserve second tenure because he has done well for Deltans.
Omote said, “Today Elohim Political Forum, and all women leaders from Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency have come together to synergise and proffer winning formulas for PDP in the coming elections.
According to Omote, “With the YAGEP and STEP programs in the state, Sen.  Okowa has established many people youths and we are going to mobilize and vote for him to complete his second tenure because he is youth friendly.
“We want Okowa back because he has done well for Deltans and he will always do more when he is reelected. Urhobo nation should wait till 2023 so that Delta North can complete their tenure”. He emphasized.
On their parts, the women leader from Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency,  Rose Imonikugbere,  Ghereje Beatrice and Mrs. Ufuoma Edewor held that the women from these three local government areas will be mobilizing the women folks to vote for the PDP because governor Okowa has sent may of their children from the streets.
Speaking further, they held that Okowa is working and his reelection has been sealed because his works are his testimonies the women loves him so much.
